Update on Grindon Parish

As we start 2024, we look back at what has been achieved so far over the year.
We are very grateful to everyone in the parish who has volunteered to help improve the area. Thank you.
You should all be proud of everything that has been done to make our little bit of Staffordshire Moorlands better.

As this article is published , we can see the daffodil bulbs just starting to poke through the ground. If they survive the deluge of rain, we should be rewarded with a lovely sunny yellow display.
The pond has some new plants too and a lot of the overgrowth of weed has been removed.
The play area is still a work in progress, nothing can be done in the dreadfully wet weather but plenty is in the pipeline. The wooden posts look so much better for straightening and staining and the benches have had a coat of varnish but await another.
