Parish Councillor Vacancy
One of Grindon Councillors has resigned, so there will be a vacant position. The statutory notice has been put up in the noticeboard and will be there for 14 days. After that time, if an election has not been called for, any person residing or owning property or a business in the parish can apply to become a councillor.
Please ask any councillor if you would like an informal chat about the role and watch out for requests to apply for the role.
